so you all (t, mer & ragan) have the privilege of posting to this site and i have to say i'm disappointed. i give you two weeks, that's it...two weeks from today until i split and start my own adventure. let me know who's in and who's out. if i don't see a comment or independent blog within the alotted time, you will see my future posts under "the sweet sorrow of champagne bubbles."

happy birthday matt!
so, it's a day late and a dollar short here on the blog...but i want everyone to see the pics. we all started at zig zag cafe and then moved to the alibi room after matt did the loft tour. a night filled with drinks, dancing and pure class. thanks to everyone for coming out and making it a great time.

ragan inspires many, loses to few
ragan competed in a thriathlon in snohomish, rocked the vag tennies, finished strong and won a wetsuit. we are so proud of you girl! i would also like to add that she swore she would never do another one that day...4 days later, she asked me if i wanted to train for one next summer. silly bean!

the last chance

although many believe in "winter whites," it is a long standing fashion faux-paux to wear white after labor day. so ming took it upon himself to take the last saturday before the dreaded date and give us all one "last chance" to wear our whites. no red wine allowed.

ani makes me happy
it's just been too long, so here are some quick pics from the ani concert at marymoore. it was a great show and time altogether. between sammies and beer and rushing the stage, ani filled the night with the usual set list and inspirational stories about patriarchy and feminism (not just for women anymore).

i would also like to add that her opener took us running through memories of d.a.r.e. and oregon trail. do you remember oregon trail? oh how i looked forward to fridays in fifth grade!

matt dj's at porta
it was successful...no dinner guests were scared away and a whole slew of friends and fans out for matt's first night at porta, a greek lounge and restaurant on 1st & virginia. it was a great night and if you missed it, don't worry, he'll be spending a night a month entertaining!

sushi & stir fry
there really isn't a need to explain much further, but i did learn a valuable lesson. even though the bag of potstickers say to add two tablespoons of oil, heat and add potstickers...that's not the way you do it. you apperently fry them one at a time, so that the bottom fries up and then you add water to steam the rest of the actual potsticker. who woulda known? oh yeah...meredith duh!

but in all honesty, it was a great night of sushi making, meredith's delicious chicken, broccoli & asparagus stir fry and good company. viva el casa de meredith & ann!

what do you get when you put together 5 friends, 4 mcs and 1 dj

you get ann, meredith, teresa, phil and dan at the jurassic 5 show at the showbox. it had been over 3 years since j5 played at the showbox and were overwhelmed that the venue sold out. i haven't seen a crowd that pumped in...well...a long frickin time. little boys were b-boying it in the isles, no one sat down and every single person played along with the open/close game.

jurassic 5 has a new album coming out next tuesday called feedback. although they are promoting, they weren't afraid to play mostly old stuff, mixing in the new. i do have to say that i enjoyed the tracks off the new album, and have full intention of purchasing it.

And on the Seventh Day, God Decided to Skip the Cat Nap and Play Mini Golf Instead!!!

Not only did we hands down, have the best outfits out of the entire league, but hot damn can we play an excellent round of put put! Check out this pick of Dan getting cozy with the rest of the team (think of it as a team building experience, kind of like the Trust Fall) but also the rest of us using our snappy command of mini golf skills to dominate the course. you know what is great? one guess...roommates!

the adventures (or should i say misadventures) of meredith and ann truly begin. after signing all the paper work and spending an hour and a half with our landlord (aka shirtless in seattle) we recieved the keys and are moving in this weekend.

the house has many amenities, both in existance and in theory.

back and front yard
patio table
large living room for dance parties
college(esque) basement for college(esque) parties
beer pong
scary next door neighbors
group health free parking next door
again...crazy landlord
and of course me and mer!

we look forward to the gatherings and sleepovers to come!

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have no doubt heard me waxing ecstatic about the fantastic camping trip we all took on the weekend before the 4th of July. Welcome to our Blog!

That's right, we finally bit the bullet and have acquiesced to the tech savvy atmosphere that permeates all of Seattle. Apparently, it's hip to be square after all.

The reasoning behind the creation of our wee little Blog can be attributed to the nasty picture taking habit that Ann and I have both acquired. Blame it on our snazzy digital cameras or the fact that our friends are so damn photogenic, but when a weekend comes to its conclusion the first thing we ask on Monday morning is, "did you email me your pictures yet?"

Email inbox size constraints soon became a concern and a solution was needed. Hence the creation of our Blog. This page will serve as a vehicle for us to post our pictures for all to see, a veritable one-stop-shop for all of our friends to view the goings on in our lives (and theirs as well!).

So please enjoy our humble page and if there are any pictures y'all would like included, email them to us and we'll get them up here post haste!
